Fish ingredients:
- Furikake Arare crispy rice balls
- white-fleshed fish, e.g. cod
Sauce ingredients:
- Hatcho Miso (Black Miso)
- Mirin and cooking sake
- possibly other flavorings (Ponzu, Yuzu juice, etc.)
Preparation of fish:
1. Fillet the fish.
2. Place the skin side onto the Furikake Arare rice crackers.
3. Carefully fry this side in oil until golden brown, if necessary, finish cooking,
4. season.
Preparation of sauce:
1. Bring Mirin and cooking sake to a boil together
2. Stir together with the miso until smooth (Miso loses its flavor if heated too strongly!)
Arrange the fish on the plate with the sauce. In the photo, we applied the sauce to the plate using a brush.
