Make Chumaki Sushi yourself

Chumaki Sushi belong to the Maki rolls. These are distinguished by size: Hosomaki are relatively small makis, Chumaki medium-sized, and Futomaki the largest.

Ingredients for Chumaki Sushi

For 6 makis

  • 1 Nori sheet (buy here)
  • 150 g sushi rice (buy here) cooked
  • 1/4 Avocado
  • 40 g shrimp, cooked and peeled

 


Preparation Chumaki Sushi

1. Cook sushi rice according to the instructions.

2. Evenly distribute rice on the nori sheet.

3. Place a strip of peeled avocado and cooked shrimp approximately in the middle.

 

4. Roll everything up using the bamboo mat. Cut into 6 maki rolls. 

5. Arrange on a sushi platter or pack into a Bento box for on-the-go.
